Mattie provides a concierge experience to our advisors when they travel to our Scottsdale office. Her goal is to help ensure that visits to Quantum are seamless, well-organized, fun and memorable. This means she may be helping our relationship managers one day, organizing a client event the next day and helping to onboard a new advisor the day after that. Mattie’s background makes her perfect for the multi-tasking, evolving role. After graduating from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in political science and taking her LSAT, she decided not to attend law school and instead made a 180 degree change by taking a job in the hospitality and event industry. For two years she handled sales and event planning for PGA and corporate events for High Point Events. Her focus was delivering a personalized luxury experience which included travel and corporate incentives. “I love doing this, and I’m good at it. I may never go back to law school. In fact, I’m very intrigued by the financial industry,” Mattie says. Before coming to Quantum, Mattie worked in Sales at Waste Management. In the last year, she has taken up golf, adding to her active lifestyle which includes running, boxing and working out. Born in Texas and raised in Scottsdale, she is also a huge sports and Suns basketball fan.
