Michelle Drag is a member of our accounting team, working to ensure that Quantum remains efficient and exact. In fact, that’s precisely why she loves accounting, as she enjoys problem solving with numbers and figures, finding it extremely motivating and satisfying. Despite studying anthropology and sociology at Sweet Briar College in Virginia, math comes naturally to Michelle, and it always has. When she was just young, her dad pushed her to be an overachiever, instilling a love for processes and systems. That love made her detail-oriented and results-driven, and she excels in her position with excellent organizational and communication skills. Now Michelle has more than 30 years of experience in the industry, most of which are in her home state of Illinois. She first moved to Arizona in 2019 to take advantage of the beautiful year-round weather, and she quickly fell in love with the landscapes, the restaurants and the live music venues, all of which helped her persuade some of her friends to move here with her. She and her husband are also animal lovers, raising and training Netherland dwarf rabbits and exotic birds in their free time. They also love swing dancing, a hobby that helps them stay active and energized.
