Tyler Donnell spends his time managing what can be the longest and sometimes most frustrating part of the life insurance process—obtaining the medical records needed for underwriting. Working as an interface between our advisor partners and life insurance carriers, Tyler does everything he can to speed up, facilitate, manage the paperwork, obtain required signatures, and shorten the process required to get life insurance policies issued and placed in force for our advisors.
Tyler prides himself on being a positive and motivated person, and it shows. Prior to joining Quantum, he worked at Northwestern Mutual as a personal assistant for an advisor, working directly with consumers to communicate underwriting requirements while he processed required paperwork. As a result, he is very knowledgeable about what our advisors need as they work directly with their clients.
Born and raised in Phoenix, Tyler jokes about our summers: “all I know is dry heat.” He has worked as a lifeguard, and attended Glendale Community College: North where he studied criminal psychology. He plans to obtain his final credits online in order to complete his degree.
When not working, Tyler plays an occasional pickup game of basketball with his buddies. He and his girlfriend enjoy traveling to get away and spend time outdoors; one favorite spot is Munds Park, Arizona at his grandmother’s cabin. In addition to traveling, Tyler actively watches different sporting events, often participating in fantasy football and fantasy basketball leagues. He is an avid cornhole player, loves competition, and you may find him at tournaments around the valley.
